Friends of J. F. Goodwin Scholarship Fund,
Now in existence for over 85 years, the J. F. Goodwin Scholarship Fund (JFG) continues to strive to expand its scholarship program and grants to African American graduating seniors, matriculating to higher learning, in the Bethlehem Area School District. We hope that you will be able to take part and experience firsthand the pride we take in supporting students and their educational pursuits. It is our mission to:

promote scholarship and develop culture in our community

To promote better interracial understanding and fellowship

To obtain scholarship aid, whenever possible, for our graduates

To offer financial assistance to our students who are eligible for such aide

To encourage advanced education

To act as counselors in choice of vocation

To aid in character training in cooperation with the Bethlehem Area School District

To uphold and promote the general interest in education
